Polly is a very special girl, and will only be adopted to a very special home. Polly needs a calm home with someone who has the time and ability to continue with her training that focuses on positive reinforcement only. She will thrive on daily walks and attention, being brushed and talked to and being made to feel special.
Polly had a rough time before coming into our care so new situations are scary at first, she is growing in confidence, but would do best with an owner who will quietly provide calm reassurance in new situations without making a big fuss.
Can you offer Polly all these things plus games, quality food, a super comfy bed, regular flea and worm treatments, cuddles, and good conversation?
Do you have an understanding for what individual dogs need, and are you committed to providing for those needs?
We will not rehome Polly to a family with young children (gentle children over 8 years is great), or to very busy households or to anyone who won’t appreciate an amazing dog when they own one. Another gentle and playful dog in the family would be a bonus.
As with all Pound Hounds, Polly must be allowed inside the home (this includes sleeping) so she can really be part of the family.
