Bad Habits: Pulls on lead

Personality Type: Medium-high energy, playful, great company

Special Requirements: None that we're aware of

Ideal Home: Lottie's ideal home would be with hoomans who understand the needs and personality of a strong breed dog, who know about how to do correct dog introductions and understand Lottie doesn't need to be best mates with all dogs. She is social with some dogs, but isn't into all dogs, which is fine! (we can relate!). In true Staffy style, she LOVES hoomans but would do best in a home either with no kids or kids over 10 years old - purely because Lottie's chunky bod in zoomies mode is asking for trouble.

Adoption Fee: To be arranged with Animal Control

Check out that stunning Staffy smile! You really can't beat a Staffy smile right?!

Lottie is a bit of a gem, she's lovely to be around. You can do just about anything with her, she adores people! Playing with her toys and having her hoomans play with her are two of her favourite things - her third love...? FOOD! She'll do anything for ALL the treats please!

Lottie is a medium to high energy gal, so she will need a good hours exercise (plus toy time) each day to use that energy up, that'll also help to deter any weight gain (not body shaming, it's a lab thing lol) and keep her healthy so she can have more treats haha.

She is a strong, solid girl, who does need work on her leash walking, a front clip harness or a halti could be good tools to train her in. And since she's super food motivated, carrying treats to keep her at your side would be a great idea too.

Since she's only JUST over 1 year old, Lottie is very trainable and past all that puppy stuff, but considering her chunky body and her playful nature, older (10 years+) dog savvy children would be best, or a child free home is ideal. She would totally suit a guy or gal on their own, who jogs, and loves to snuggle on the couch with their best girl. A Staffy or strong breed experienced home who know how to do correct dog introductions and understand that Lottie doesn't need to be best mates with all the dogs. She is social with some dogs, but isn't into all dogs, but that's ok - who gets on with everyone right? She won't be a dog you can take to the dog park and let loose. She would do better on leashed walks with friends and play dates with dogs she knows.

We don't know how Lottie is with cats but would suggest a cat free home would be best.

If you can provide a fully fenced property, quality food, regular flea and worm treatments, a comfy and warm bed, games and toys and most of all lots of love, click on the apply to adopt button and complete the application form.

Lottie will be vaccinated and desexed prior to adoption. He will also be registered with council and microchipped.
