Ideal Home: Ophelia and her siblings were found dumped by a river at approximately 4 weeks old. Lucky for them, some amazing people found them and got them to a safe place until we could take them into our care!
Ophelia is a happy, confident, loving little miss who loves a good adventure almost as much as she loves a good cuddle. She loves running around and playing with her toys with the hooman kids in the home and loves to play with the adult doggo in the home too. After a good play session, she loves to snuggle up in your lap for a cuddle.
Ophelia loves exploring the section at her foster home, finding treasures in the garden and chasing her toys as well as a good zoomie session! She especially loves playing with the adult dog in the home and he is teaching her good things about how to play nicely, which all little pups need to learn. She is a confident and happy little pup who loves anyone she meets - especially kids! Her foster parents reckon she's a dream to train and she's going to make someone an amazing best friend.
She is still a wee baby so will need someone home with her during the day. A home familiar with working breeds would be ideal, but most of all a home that is prepared and willing to put in the time with a pup who is smart and full of beans. Ophelia loves a good play session and her exercise needs will likely grow as she gets bigger, we reckon she'd make a great adventure buddy or a fab companion for someone who loves to get out on long walks or goes running.
Another gentle male dog in the home that can teach her all the good things would be fab too - she has only had good experiences with other dogs so far and she thinks they're pretty awesome. Being prepared to work your pups brain as well as their body is super important with babes of this breed. Ophelia is in a foster home with younger kids, 1 cat (who who thinks she's a dog), 1 other dogs, and her brother Oli currently. She is already fantastic at toilet and will let you know she needs to go out. Any new home will need to be consistent with taking her out but she's not had any accidents since she's been in our care which is FAB for a pup her age! She will need hoomans prepared to continue her learning and socialisation and willing to teach her all the good things a puppy should know in order to be a great member of doggy society.
Ophelia must be allowed to live inside the home so she can be a real member of the family.
Please note that while we are taking pre-applications and doing meets for Ophelia, she will stay in our care until she is 8 weeks of age and able to have her first vaccinations
If you can provide Ophelia with a fully fenced and secure property, quality food, regular flea and worm treatments, a comfy and warm bed, a comfy couch to nap on and most of all lots of love for the rest of her days, click on the apply to adopt button and complete the application form.
