Ideal Home:
Parker and his 6 sibilings came into Animal Control care at only ONE day old! Sadly their mama passed away while giving birth to them. At 1 week old, they came to us and have been in their amazing foster homes ever since. They've received the very best care and have all been able to be around adult doggos that have been their surrogate mamas so they've had the opportunity to be well socialised with other dogs and have also had the benefit of staying with their littermates, which means they have had the ability to learn all the good things any pupper needs to learn from their littermates too. Because they have all been bottle fed, they are also very affectionate and social pups with hoomans too.
Parker is still a baby so he will need someone home with him during the day. He's an real snuggle bug and loves to have a really good cuddle with you on the couch.
Parker loves to be with his people, he's the sort of kid that would love a home where he got to spend as much time with his hoomans as he can. He loves exploring the garden and running around playing chasey games with his sister or a good game of tug.
Parker is in a foster home with his sister, as well as two adult dogs, who he loves to play with and follow around. He would love a home with another female dog to learn all the good things from and play with. He is at the right age to learn about cats and has been with a cat in his first foster home, so we believe with proper introductions, he would be fine in a home with a cat. He has also met a pig, chooks and seen cows, a turtle and a rabbit.
Parker has been around kids since he came into our care, he loves kids but has more of a sensitive nature so we believe he would do best in a calm home with kids 8+ who are gentle and kind but that would still love to play with him. He would love a home where he can get out every day for a good walk and of course go on adventures in the weekend.
He loves people and other dogs - he's met plenty of dogs and has never had a bad interaction yet. He can be a little shy first in new situations but very quickly comes out of his shell and starts to explore.
His foster mum says: "Parker is a happy little pup that loves to explore the garden and surrounds. He loves to snuggle at night. I love his broad chest and strong wee paws that he has. He let me wash and dry him with a blow-dryer and do his nails, so he's very laid back."
Parker will need a family committed to making sure he learns all the things a good pupper should know so he can grow into a good doggy citizen.
If you can provide Parker with a fully fenced property, quality food, regular flea and worm treatments, a comfy and warm bed, a comfy couch to nap on, toys and most of all lots of love for the rest of his days, click on the apply to adopt button and complete the application form.
