Ideal Home:

Taffy and her 6 siblings found themselves surrendered to the pound with their mum when she was only 6 weeks old. Luckily the pound staff are amazing and made sure they stayed safe while their mum did a fab job of making sure they grew up to be great babies.

Taffy is still a baby so she will need someone home with her during at least some of the day.

Taffy is a gorgeous, sweet natured girl who loves her toys - and especially enjoys carrying her teddy with her everywhere (it's her emotional support teddy 😆)

Taffy is the sort of girl who loves people but doesn't need to be all up in your face to feel close to you. She'll happily hang out with you while you do your thing but doesn't feel the need to touch you every second of the day.  True to Husky form Taffy LOVES to learn (especially if it involves food) and is very eager to please - doing her very best to do what you ask (even if she doesn't always succeed). She also LOVES to run and play. This all means that she will need a home where she will get the mental stimulation she needs along with clear (but kind) rules and boundaries - not just physical exercise. She loves her toys, especially her tuggy toy but food is a big driver for her too. She is currently in a foster home on a farm, with adult dogs, a dog savvy cat and goats (which are still a bit scary). We would recommend a chook and small critter free home. With proper introductions and clear boundaries, she may be ok in a home with a cat that is confident around dogs.

Taffy is a Husky mix so will need plenty of exercise - for her brain and for her body. She would love hoomans who will enjoy taking her on daily walks or runs, as well as adventures on the weekends when she's old enough. We think when she's old enough she will make a great running/hiking/long walks buddy. She'd also love another (male) dog in the home to play with and learn from, but that's not a necessity.

Taffy is a really happy, sweet natured and soft girl. She has not met kids and will likely be an enthusiastic teen as she grows so a home with either no children or dog confident kids 10 + would be best.

Taffy loves going for walks, playing with her brother on the farm and her toys, exploring new places, sniffing and chewing everything she's allowed to chew. She will need a home with an active lifestyle and plenty of mental stimulation. She is already toilet and crate trained.

Due to her breed, we recommend an active, strong breed or Husky experienced home. We would recommend that any potential applicants do their research before applying for Taffy or her siblings - while these pups are clearly SUPER cute and have beautiful natures, the Husky breed is NOT for everyone. They require significant time and investment in training and exercise and are known "problem solvers" who, if not given the mental stimulation they need, WILL find their own fun.

Taffy will need a family committed to making sure she learns all the things a good pupper should know so she can grow into a good doggy citizen. Puppy preschool would be a great start but really it comes down to clear, consistent rules and boundaries.

If you can provide Taffy with a fully fenced property, quality food, regular flea and worm treatments, a comfy and warm bed, a comfy couch to nap on, toys and most of all lots of love for the rest of her days, click on the apply to adopt button and complete the application form.

Thanks for checking out gorgeous girl Taffy's profile! We cant wait to help her find her forever hoomans, could that be you?
