Ideal Home:
Tova and her 6 siblings found themselves surrendered to the pound with their mum when she was only 6 weeks old. Luckily the pound staff are amazing and made sure they stayed safe while their mum did a fab job of making sure they grew up to be great babies.
Tova is still a baby so she will need someone home with her during at least some of the day.
Tova is a confident, brave little miss with beautiful blue eyes and a joy for life.
This little miss is something a bit special. She's sassy, she's playful but she has a super sweet and loving side too. She loves a good snuggle with her hooman but can happily just be in your presence and play with her toys too. True to Husky form Taffy LOVES to learn (especially if it involves food) and is SUPER smart, picking up new things quickly. But she also has a lot of Lab qualities too - in fact her foster mum reckons she's much more of a sweet natured and eager to please Lab type. This means that she will need a home where she will get the mental stimulation she needs along with clear (but kind) rules and boundaries - not just physical exercise.
Tova is a Husky mix so will need plenty of exercise - for her brain and for her body. She would love a home with active hoomans who will enjoy taking her on daily walks or runs, as well as adventures on the weekends when she's old enough. We think when she's old enough she will make a great running/hiking/long walks buddy or even maybe a sport dog (perhaps agility, sledding, scent training etc). She'd also love another (male) dog in the home to play with and learn from, but that's not a necessity. She is currently in a foster home with two adult dogs (a Border Collie and a Husky x) and two cats (she will chase if a cat runs so dog savvy cats that stand up for themselves will be important) - her foster mum is a dog trainer too, so she's getting JUST the right start to life!
Tova is a really happy, sweet natured and fun girl. She has met kids, adults, young and old and gave every new friend a full body wiggle. She would suit a home with older, playful dog savvy kids 10+ or no kids and would fit really well into any active home - busy or quiet, she's fine with either.
Tova is crate trained and house trained, good in the car and is ready to learn all the good things her new hoomans want to teach her. She is a lovely girl with a cuddly personality and she LOVES to play. Tova loves her toys - anything that makes noise. She is confident and friendly and very trainable. She has adapted to life in her foster home very quickly and is very easy to have around.
Tova and her siblings are part Husky, this is something we recommend people take into account before applying. While Tova is a sweet natured, happy and confident girl, who isn't loud or barky (just the normal puppy stuff), she will need clear and consistent rules and boundaries to make sure she learns what is ok and what is not - just like any new puppy.
Tova will need a family committed to making sure she learns all the things a good pupper should know so she can grow into a good doggy citizen. Puppy preschool would be a great start but really it comes down to clear, consistent rules and boundaries.
If you can provide Tova with a fully fenced property, quality food, regular flea and worm treatments, a comfy and warm bed, a comfy couch to nap on, toys and most of all lots of love for the rest of her days, click on the apply to adopt button and complete the application form.
Thanks for checking out gorgeous girl Tova's profile! We cant wait to help her find her forever hoomans, could that be you?
