Ideal Home:

Willow originally came into our care with her 9 siblings from Animal Control care at only 3 weeks old! Their eyes had barely opened. Sadly they were dumped at a park and left to fend for themselves. Luckily they were found quickly and were all still healthy.

Willow found a home, but sadly it didn't work out for her and she was returned to our care.

If you're looking for a new family member who will wiggle her whole body when she sees you, loves to play but also loves a snuggle, Willow could be your girl. She loves to explore outside, play with her toys (especially her ball and tuggy rope) and do zoomies, but also loves to have cuddles and snuggle up with a hooman for a nap. With her fun, outgoing, derpy but sweet personality, Willow would be a great addition to any household that loves to get out and about and have adventures and play. She isn't fazed by noise and loves kids, adults, dogs, everyone really. But she is a derpy, uncoordinated teenager who doesn't know her own size at the moment so we'd recommend a home with either no kids or older kids (12+) who are dog savvy.

Willow LOVES her toys, especially her tug rope and will happily play and play (with you or on her own). She's got an amazing nose and can sniff things out from a mile away. She is currently in a foster home with adult dogs and cats and also attends doggy daycare and is receiving regular training from one of our amazing trainers to help her through her teen stage. Willow's a very fast learner and will do anything for a yummy treat too! She LOVES food as well which makes training easier!

This little miss is currently living with cats but DOES have a strong desire to chase things that move so a home with either no cats or a cat that is very confident would be best. We are working on her impulse control with our trainer. She IS a working breed and a chase drive goes with the territory there. Any new hoomans will need to be prepared to continue working on that with her.

Willow would love hoomans who will enjoy a dog with sass and a joy for life. She's a gorgeous, wonderful natured girl who doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but she needs hoomans who can keep teaching her all the good things she needs to know while she's got a teenage brain. Hoomans who are dog experienced and are comfortable with implementing (kind) rules and boundaries would be best. We can see she's going to be an even more AMAZING girl once she gets through her teen stage - the fundamentals are there, she just needs hoomans who are as committed to her as she is to them.  Her hoomans will need to be active, enjoy taking her on daily walks as well as adventures on the weekends but also be willing to continue helping her work on her "off switch". She ADORES people and really just wants to be a part of the family and do whatever you're doing. We think when she's old enough she will make a great running/hiking/long walks buddy and play time of course! Or even get into dog sports like scent training (she has a FAB nose), track training, rally-o or competitive obedience. She'd also love another calm but playful dog in the home to play with that matches her energy, but that's not a necessity - she can happily be an only child too.

Willow currently attends doggy daycare 3 days a week and loves it.

We're being super picky for Willow this time around - we're not going to let her down a second time so her new hoomans will need a family committed to making sure Willow lives the life she deserves and must be prepared to continue teaching her all the things a good pupper should know so she can grow into a good doggy citizen.

Please do your research on working/hunting breeds before applying - Willow is a beautiful natured girl but would not suit a first time dog owner (unless you are actively looking for a dog you can do stuff like competitive obedience, tracking or scent training with).

If you can provide Willow with a fully fenced property, quality food, regular flea and worm treatments, a comfy and warm bed, a comfy couch to nap on, toys and most of all lots of love for the rest of her days, click on the apply to adopt button and complete the application form.

Thanks for checking out gorgeous girl Willow's profile! We cant wait to help her find her forever hoomans, could that be you?
