Ideal Home:
Winston and his 10 siblings came into Animal Control care at only 3 weeks old! Their eyes had barely opened. Sadly they were dumped at a park and left to fend for themselves. Luckily they were found quickly and were all still healthy.
Winston is still a baby so he will need someone home with him during at least some of the day.
If you're looking for a handsome gentleman who is just the right blend of confidence and cuddles, Winston could be your guy. He loves to explore outside, play with his toys and have sniff-a-thons in the garden but also loves to have cuddles and snuggle up with a hooman for a nap. With his calm and sweet nature and his eagerness to please, we know that Winston is going to be a joy to train and a wonderful addition to the family.
Winston has just discovered the ball and loves to play chase with it. He is currently in a foster home with his sister Willow and two adult dogs (one elderly and one younger), a cat, kids, chooks and sheep. He also has regular play dates with his other littermates Wolfe and Winter, which makes him a very well socialised boy who is learning all the good "how to dog" things a wee baby should learn.
This awesome young fella would fit in just about anywhere - he is fine in a busy household with loads of noise and excitement but is equally just as at home in a quiet and calm environment. His calm and happy nature makes him very adaptable.
Winston would love hoomans who will enjoy taking him on daily walks as well as adventures on the weekends - he really just wants to be a part of the family and do whatever you're doing - as long as that includes snuggles on the couch too of course. We think when he's old enough a really good walk in the morning will be enough for him to just chill out for the rest of the day
Winston is an easy guy to have around. He was already house trained at 4 weeks old so he's smart too (you'll need to be consistent with him to start with of course), he's also crate trained.
Winston will need a family committed to making sure he learns all the things a good pupper should know so he can grow into a good doggy citizen. Puppy preschool would be a great start but really it comes down to clear, consistent rules and boundaries.
If you can provide Winston with a fully fenced property, quality food, regular flea and worm treatments, a comfy and warm bed, a comfy couch to nap on, toys and most of all lots of love for the rest of his days, click on the apply to adopt button and complete the application form.
Thanks for checking out handsome guy Winston's profile! We cant wait to help him find his forever hoomans, could that be you?
