Fencing Requirements: Minimum 1.5m, dog-proof fencing around the home or decent farm fencing.

Hobbies: Naps, hanging out with her hoomans, playing with her siblings and adult dog friends, exploring the garden, playing tuggy, more naps, snuggles with her people, playing with toys, attempting puppy zoomies

Good Habits: Crate trained, already almost house trained, learning how to "dog" from the adult dogs and appropriate play with her siblings, smart, loves to explore and play, very affectionate, loves people, good with cats, dogs, chooks, sheep

Bad Habits: She's still a baby so no bad habits yet

Personality Type: Medium-high energy, happy, confident, playful, affectionate, very sweet "Lab type" nature

Ideal Home: 

Winter and her 9 siblings came into Animal Control care at only 3 weeks old! Their eyes had barely opened. Sadly they were dumped at a park and left to fend for themselves. Luckily they were found quickly and were all still healthy. 

Winter is still a baby so she will need someone home with her during at least some of the day.

If you're looking for a new family member who will wiggle her whole body when she sees you, loves to play and is loads of fun, Winter could be your girl. She loves to explore outside, play with her toys (especially her ball and tuggy rope) and do zoomies, but also loves to have cuddles and snuggle up with a hooman for a nap. With her fun and outgoing personality, Winter would be a great addition to busy or quiet households, that love to get out and about and have adventures and play. She isn't fazed by noise and loves kids, adults, dogs, everyone really!

Winter loves her toys, especially her tug rope. She is currently in a foster home with her brother Wolfe and has regular play dates with adult dogs, she has met cats, kids, chooks and sheep. She also has regular play dates with her other littermates Willow and Winston, which makes her a very well socialised girl who is learning all the good "how to dog" things a wee baby should learn.

Winter would love hoomans who will enjoy taking her on daily walks as well as adventures on the weekends when she's old enough - she really just wants to be a part of the family and do whatever you're doing - as long as that includes snuggles on the couch too of course. We think when she's old enough she will make a great running/hiking/long walks buddy and play time of course!

Winter is a really sweet natured and fun girl to have around. She is the perfect blend of go and woah. LOVES a good play session but then is happy to snuggle up in her bed for a nap. She adores kids so a home with kids over 6+ would be great, but even in a home where there are no kids, she would just adore a hooman who wants to spend time with her, playing, snuggling and teaching her all the good things a pup should learn.

Winter will need a family committed to making sure she learns all the things a good pupper should know so she can grow into a good doggy citizen. Puppy preschool would be a great start but really it comes down to clear, consistent rules and boundaries.
