Ideal Home:
Wolfe and his 10 siblings came into Animal Control care at only 3 weeks old! Their eyes had barely opened. Sadly they were dumped at a park and left to fend for themselves. Luckily they were found quickly and were all still healthy.
Wolfe is still a baby so he will need someone home with him during at least some of the day.
If you're looking for a sweet natured, laid back guy with looks for days and a personality to match, Wolfe could be your guy. He loves to explore outside, play with his toys and have sniff-a-thons in the garden but what he loves most is his hoomans. With his gentle and sweet nature and his eagerness to please, we know that Wolfe is going to be a joy to train and a wonderful addition to the family.
Wolfe has just discovered the tennis ball and loves to try and carry it around in his mouth. He is currently in a foster home with his sister Winter and while there are no other dogs in the foster home, he has had plenty of socialisation with other dogs coming to visit. He has also had a "holiday" in a foster home with two adult dogs (one elderly and one younger), a cat, kids, chooks and sheep and his other littermates Winston and Willow, which makes him a well socialised boy who is learning all the good "how to dog" things a wee baby should learn.
This awesome young fella would fit in just about anywhere - but we think he'd do best in a quieter home with older kids (12+). He ADORES people but has a quiet and soft nature so a busy household - while he would cope - wouldn't be the best fit for him.
Wolfe would love hoomans who will enjoy taking him on daily walks as well as adventures on the weekends - he really just wants to be a part of the family and do whatever you're doing - as long as that includes snuggles on the couch too of course. We think when he's old enough a really good walk in the morning will be enough for him to just chill out for the rest of the day
Wolfe is an easy guy to have around. He is already mostly house trained (you'd just need to be consistent with him in your home of course, while he learns the ropes), he is crate trained and is already coming when called, he loves people so we think he'll be a delight to train.
Wolfe will need a family committed to making sure he learns all the things a good pupper should know so he can grow into a good doggy citizen. Puppy preschool would be a great start but really it comes down to clear, consistent rules and boundaries.
If you can provide Wolfe with a fully fenced property, quality food, regular flea and worm treatments, a comfy and warm bed, a comfy couch to nap on, toys and most of all lots of love for the rest of his days, click on the apply to adopt button and complete the application form.
Thanks for checking out handsome guy Wolfe's profile! We cant wait to help him find his forever hoomans, could that be you?
